Prop Tutorial
Step 1: Getting Started Open up the image editing software of your choice. The software should have the ability to save files in png format as well as the ability to use multiple layers. Adobe Photoshop is ideal, but for those who don't have that you can download paint.net for free. Open up the appropriate template. In this example we'll be using the dress template. Add a layer on top of the template. This is where we'll do our drawing.
Step 2: On the new layer you've added, draw your dress. Take care around the fingers. Once you've got the initial outline you can fill the space with the paintbucket tool. From there start adding your shading and details.
Step 3: Saving Now that the dress is done, its time to save. We don't want to save the dress with a person inside it so click off the visibility on the background layer that has your template.
When that's done go to the save as option and choose "png." You'll get a prompt to discard the hidden layers (the template background in our case). Answer yes.
